  LUBISOL CO is a private company founded in 1989, continuing some of the R&D activities of the Laboratory for Refractory and Insulating Materials at the Institute for Glass and Ceramics in Sofia , Bulgaria .

  The company is serving mainly the glass industry and is highly specialized in a very narrow field of activities:

- Thermal Insulation of glass furnace crowns;

- Hot repair of silica crowns;

- Corrosion protection and hermetic sealing of silica crowns.

  The company has a lot of positive experience in thermal insulation and hot repairs of 100 glass furnaces all over the world, including 7 float glass furnaces in the USA and China . The new sealing method developed recently by the company described as Cold Chemical Welding, based on a new material Lubisol Si-Seal is spreading rapidly all over the world, being applied with big success on more than 100 glass furnaces in 36 countries.
